Meet Thomas

Hello! My name is Thomas, and I am a first-year teacher candidate at the University of Ottawa. My passion for working with children was first discovered through my work in daycare settings, where I was able to see the direct outcome of sitting with a child, offering them the tools to learn, and seeing it happen before my eyes. Since then, I have taken on tutoring roles, and hope to create a classroom environment in the future that is warm, open, and welcoming to diverse learning experiences!

At Kelly's Reading Club, I use strategies learned from both my own experiences, as well as those I am learning through my university courses to best support students' development. I look forward to helping your child on their learning journey!
