Why choose Kelly's Reading and Math Club?

1️⃣ Personalized, Science-Based Instruction
We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Every child receives a customized learning plan based on a holistic assessment, using research-backed methods rooted in neuroscience to ensure real progress.

2️⃣ Confidence-Boosting, Fun Learning Experience
Struggling learners often feel anxious about schoolwork. We make learning engaging and stress-free with interactive lessons, games, and hands-on activities—helping kids feel excited to learn instead of dreading it.

3️⃣ Faster, Meaningful Results
On average, our students move up a full grade level in less than 10 hours of instruction. We focus on real progress, not extra work, so kids build lasting skills and independence in reading, writing, and math.

4️⃣ Support for the Whole Family
Parents are a key part of their child’s learning journey! We provide clear and regular updates on your kiddo’s learning, so you know exactly how to support your kiddo at home—without the stress of figuring it all out alone.

Clare Thornton

Hi! My name is Clare, and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa, working toward my goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I joined Kelly's Reading Club in January 2025 and have absolutely loved being part of a program that makes learning fun and engaging. Kelly’s teaching style is inspiring! I have a wide range of experience working with children, including roles in summer camps, au pairing in Australia, and various peer mentoring positions. These opportunities have helped me develop strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a deep passion for helping kids grow. I truly enjoy creating positive learning environments where children feel confident and supported. When I was a kid, my favourite books were anything by Robert Munsch and the Junie B. Jones series, I loved the humour and imagination in every story! I’m so excited to help your child build their own love of learning.
