It’s hard to believe that there is a gap in the tutoring industry when there are so many tutors and learning centers available! Yet, I believe there is a gap. I first noticed it as a parent and then as a reading tutor working one-on-one with students. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until now.
As a parent, I was searching for something beyond what a learning center or private tutor could offer. As a tutor, I wanted to provide my students and their families with more than what the standard one-to-one, pay-per-session tutoring model could deliver. But what was missing? After much soul-searching and research, I discovered what the world of tutoring was lacking.
Here’s the thing… for many students and families, tutoring alone is just not enough. Live lessons once or twice a week are only part of a much bigger picture. Students and families need (and deserve) more than just tutoring; they need an entire system of support. That’s where Kelly’s Reading Club fills the gap.
Imagine your child having access to multiple learning opportunities, including learning with peers and one-on-one sessions with an experienced Ontario Certified Teacher. What if they could practice skills online at their own pace? All of this is part of one comprehensive tutoring program!
Now imagine having the support you need as a parent. You can book a call with a teacher who knows the system and understands your child. You can connect with a community of parents who share the same goal: to help their children become great readers and writers. There are no extra costs and no limits to the support you can access. You take whatever you and your child need—it's all part of the program at Kelly’s Reading Club.
This September (2024), I am thrilled to launch a full support system for Ontario students in grades 1-3 who struggle with reading and writing, and for their families who want the best for their amazing children.
