Before I begin working with any student, I always do a reading assessment. This assessment is important for a few reasons. First, it gives you and your child a chance to meet me and see what it's like to work together. Next, it gives me an opportunity to see how your child reads. What strategies do they use? How do they feel about reading? What is their approach to learning? All this information is important as I design an individualized learning program for your child. After the assessment, I will email you my observations and the learning program I have designed for your child as they begin tutoring with me.
